Role Purpose
To lead and manage end-to-end Production Operations ensuring efficient manufacturing, quality excellence, cost optimization and adherence to global standards in a high-precision automotive component environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Management
Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet business targets (volume, quality, cost, delivery). Ensure smooth execution of end-to-end manufacturing processes including machining, assembly and testing. Drive lean manufacturing practices, continuous improvement (Kaizen) and waste reduction initiatives. Optimize capacity utilization and production efficiency.Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to global quality standards (IATF/ISO) and internal quality systems. Collaborate with QA teams to reduce defects, rework and customer complaints. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop shop-floor teams and supervisors. Drive a culture of safety, accountability and performance excellence. Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling and productivity.Cost & Process Optimization
Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives. Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and reduce downtime. Drive automation and digital manufacturing initiatives where applicable.Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality and Engineering teams. Coordinate with global stakeholders and suppliers when required.Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards. Promote zero-accident culture on the shop floor.Mandatory Requirements
Experience: 8–15 years in automotive manufacturing / auto components. Strong exposure to machining, assembly or braking systems manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM and OEE. Experience in handling large shop-floor teams.Language Requirement (Mandatory)
