Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manufacturing Manager to oversee all operations at our production facility. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven experience in streamlining manufacturing processes, managing personnel, and ensuring that all production goals are met efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct all daily manufacturing activities to ensure production schedules and customer demands are consistently met.Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, including supervisors and production staff. This includes training, evaluating performance, and resolving employee issues.Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) to drive continuous improvement.Ensure all products meet or exceed established quality standards and regulatory requirements. Identify and resolve production issues to prevent defects.Utilize methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to identify and eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.Uphold stringent adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA), promoting a culture of safety throughout the plant.Develop and manage production staffing requirements for direct and indirect labor, and control production expenses.Work closely with other departments, including manufacturing engineering, supply chain, quality, planning, and sales, to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture that promotes teamwork, open communication, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.Lead by example in upholding company values and creating an environment where employees feel respected and motivated.Oversee the picking and replenishment of production material to all production areas.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory standards, such as OSHA.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Solid technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software.Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish).Experience in HVAC, sheet metal, or automotive manufacturing industries.Experience in managing outbound logistics and shipping.SAP HANA experience.

The position operates in a manufacturing facility with a focus on safety and compliance. The role requires collaboration across multiple departments, utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Pto-2 weeks and 1 week floater/personal days
Insurance starts on day one
Bonus is up to 10% of salary-depending on company goals hit

This is a fully onsite position in Thomasville,PA.
