This Position reports to:

Warehouse Manager
 

This role report to the: Warehouse Manager.  

The work model for the role is: On-Site - 5 days a week / 40 HOURS – Day Shift.  

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations. 

 

Your Role: Own the Challenge 

Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources. 

Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates. 

Ensuring that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization. 

Providing support as required during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities. 

Ensure all staff understand and follow ABB’s core values, Code of Conduct, and global/local standards, promoting integrity and ethical behavior. 

Takes ownership of HSE performance, assesses risks, and implements safety measures to protect people and equipment. 

Encourages cross-functional teamwork and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support ABB’s strategic goals. 

Organizes and staff`ss effectively, inspires and mentors team members, and fosters a culture of continuous learning and development. 

Reviews team structure and competencies regularly, ensuring alignment with business needs and driving ongoing improvements in performance. 

 

 

What it takes to run what runs the world 

Bachelor’s degree in operations and Logistics Management or equivalent 

5 to 10 years of experience in distribution management 

Proficiency in French is mandatory, as well as English to communicate effectively with internal clients and partners located outside of Quebec 

Good knowledge of SAP and warehouse and transportation management systems 

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 

Adopts a coaching approach, acts as a change agent, communicates effectively, mobilizes teams, and promotes collaboration
