Job Description
We are seeking a Production Manager to lead the production of electro-mechanical systems with a focus on precision, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and managing assembly lines involving PCBAs, ESD-sensitive components, kitting, and work order execution. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. Preferred experience includes UAV manufacturing and defense and aerospace systems assembly.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the assembly line, ensuring production targets are met.Implement and sustain Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.Ensure compliance with ESD protocols and safe handling of sensitive electronic components.Manage kitting processes and ensure timely availability of materials for production.Coordinate and monitor work orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution.Maintain high standards of precision assembly and quality control.Supervise and train production staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and optimize workflows.Essential Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience managing an assembly line for electro-mechanical systems.Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma and 5S implementation.Strong understanding of PCBAs, ESD protection, and precision assembly.Experience with kitting and work order management in ERP systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in production planning and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP).Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in UAV manufacturing.Experience in defense and aerospace systems assembly.Work Environment
This position is based onsite in Stafford, VA.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
