What will you do?The Production Manager is responsible for implementing overall production standards and managing all operations within a single plant focused on copper and sheet metal transformation. This includes overseeing cutting, welding, punching, and painting processes, ensuring optimal machine utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep expertise in metal-mechanical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:• Implement defined production standards and oversee all plant operations, including maintenance and engineering services.• Drive strategic development and continuous improvement of the production unit.• Ensure compliance with internal and local EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.• Plan and manage the unit’s budget, allocating financial and personnel resources effectively.• Lead and optimize workflows to meet production targets in quality, quantity, and timely delivery.• Propose and monitor short- and mid-term development plans and investment projects.• Ensure efficient product scheduling and maximum machine utilization.• Provide clear working instructions, rules, and guidelines for all production areas and shifts.
Technical Requirements:• In-depth knowledge of copper and sheet metal transformation processes.• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and control.• Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in metalworking.
