Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Manager in Sun Valley, CA.

As a Production Manager, you will:

Production Oversight: Managing and coordinating all facets of the die casting production process, including CNC machining and metal finishing. Team Leadership: Leading, training, and mentoring our production team to achieve aggressive performance goals and maintain exceptional productivity levels. Quality Champion: Implementing and upholding rigorous quality control procedures to guarantee all products consistently meet the highest industry standards. Process Optimization: Continuously identifying and deploying process improvements to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and boost overall production capabilities. Safety Compliance: Ensuring all production activities strictly adhere to safety regulations and company policies, fostering a secure work environment. Inventory Stewardship: Overseeing inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure timely procurement and minimize operational downtime. Performance Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular, insightful reports on production performance, including key metrics on efficiency, quality, and output.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. 

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience: Proven experience in a production management role, with a strong preference for the die casting or broader manufacturing industry. Leadership: Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills, with a knack for motivating and developing talent. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to tackle complex production challenges. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with CNC machining and metal finishing processes. Quality & Safety Focus: Solid understanding of quality control standards and unwavering commitment to safety regulations. Communication: Strong communication and organizational skills, essential for effective cross-functional collaboration.

Salary: $52,000 - $62,000/year.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
