What to Expect

As a PMT, you’ll embark on an 18-month rotational journey where you will relocate across 3–4 of our U.S. facilities, gaining deep, hands-on experience in operations, leadership, and continuous improvement. After completing the program, you’ll step into a leadership role at one of our Factory Built locations.

What You’ll Learn & DoMaster plant operations, production processes, and product knowledgeUnderstand lumber grades, cuts, yields, and material optimizationLearn to manage production schedules, budgets, and cost controlsGain hands-on experience with our business systems and reporting toolsDevelop leadership skills by supervising teams and driving safety and efficiencyTour other UFP facilities and customer sites to broaden your industry perspectiveComplete structured coursework and mentorship assignmentsPrepare for a future leadership role in one of our high-impact facilities

What You BringA bachelor’s degree in business or a related field—or equivalent experienceStrong Excel skills and a passion for learning and leadingWillingness to travel and relocate after the programA hands-on, can-do attitude and a drive to grow
