About the role
The Production Maintenance Coordinator manages daily maintenance, acting as the bridge between operations and maintenance teams to schedule preventive/reactive work, oversee staff/contractors, manage parts/inventory, and ensure compliance, minimizing downtime and keeping equipment/facilities running efficiently with a focus on safety and planning. Key duties involve work order management, resource allocation, budget tracking, and using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to prioritize and schedule tasks that support production goals.
Key responsibilities
• Scheduling & Planning Develop and execute daily, weekly, and annual maintenance schedules, prioritizing work orders to balance production needs with essential upkeep.
• Work Order Management Screen, approve, and assign work requests, ensuring proper detail and identifying potential conflicts or safety issues.
• Coordination Act as the central point of contact between operations, maintenance staff, and external vendors (plumbers, electricians).
• Resource Management Ensure technicians have the right tools, parts, and materials, managing inventory and equipment.
• Budgeting Assist with budget creation, track expenditures, and manage payments for services and supplies.
• Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company standards.
• Reporting & Data Maintain accurate records in CMMS, analyze data for trends, and report on maintenance performance.
Qualifications and skills
• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical or Electronics Technology, or Facilities Maintenance.
• 2-5 years of experience in maintenance, production, or facilities environments.
• Experience coordinating vendors or parts ordering.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Ability to be flexible with hours when needed.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Employee has exposure to chemicals, products that require use of a respirator and must wear safety glasses and proper PPE as specified at all times in the primary environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to sit and frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally to stoop, kneel or crouch. Employee will be required to work at heights and climb stairs on a routine basis.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. In addition, position requires the ability to hear and communicate verbally.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $64,479- $105,272 in Annual Salary. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
