You'll observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. You will repair or replace defective parts and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. You will lubricate and clean parts as well as trouble shoot hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic parts.  Responsibilities: Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power toolsInspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, using hand tools. Starts devices to test their performance.Trouble shooting ability and repair skills to work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Qualifications and Requirements: Knowledge of single and three phase circuits, experience with 120, 208, and 480 systems.Skilled industrial mechanic with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Must be trained in SQF 6.6 – Maintenance Program and Maintenance Equipment Schedule.High School DiplomaAbility to work in a cold, wet environment Benefits and Perks: Pay Rate-$20-$30Medical Benefits Paid holidays & PTO  Training & GrowthYour New Organization:Roger Wood Foods is a 3rd generation, family-owned and operated food processing company, recognized for making great sausages. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role.
