Production Leader
Job Description The Production Manager will be responsible for directly and indirectly managing a diverse team of supervisors, engineers and production personnel in a fast-paced environment. They will interact with all levels of management and all areas of the plant to include Materials, Production Control, Test, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Maintenance and Shipping. The role will be responsible for ensuring the adherence to production targets in quality, schedule and cost containment while maintaining a safe work environment. Essential Functions: • Achieve targeted production efficiency by prioritizing scheduling and coordinating troubleshooting activities • Identify production issues and implement corrective actions • Implement LEAN and 5s improvement to eliminate waste and establish standard work • Focus on achievement of increased throughput while reducing operating expenses and overall costs • Focus on behavior-based safety through strong leadership, adherence to company policies, programs and proactive real-time feedback and actions • Indirectly supervise employees in areas of responsibility • Prioritize production activities to meet completion deadlines We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience production manufacturing production experience specifically within maintenance, repair and overall 5+ years in a DOD or aerospace manufacturing or heavy-labor industry At least 5 years of experience working with production key performance indicators (yields, uptime, and throughput) and Root cause analysis/troubleshooting • SAP experience • Experience or knowledge IPC solder standards • Background in electronic and test troubleshooting • Thorough understanding of MRP and production planning/control • Experience working in an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environment null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
