Production Lead
**Job Title: Masker Lead** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Masker Lead to join our team in the aerospace and defense sector. The successful candidate will oversee a small team in masking metal parts, using materials such as tape and plugs to protect areas from coating. This role involves working with parts ranging from the size of a quarter to as large as a shipping container. The Masker Lead will mostly work independently but may collaborate with another team member for larger tasks. **Responsibilities** + Supervise a team of two maskers in daily operations. + Perform masking duties using tape, plugs, and other materials. + Utilize small hand tools for detailed work on various sized parts. + Collaborate on larger masking projects as needed. + Assist with the racking of parts when necessary. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of masking experience. + 1+ year of experience in a lead role. + Ability to read and write in English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in metal finishing is preferred. + Familiarity with ITAR regulations and manufacturing environments. + Experience in machine operation and packaging. + No more than two job changes in the last three years. + Beneficial experience includes small part assembly, paint prep, and industrial settings. **Why Work Here?** Our company values internal advancement, offering cross-training and opportunities for career growth. The environment is typical of a manufacturing setting, free of any unpleasant odors. The position operates during the first shift, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The dress code is casual, requiring t-shirts or sweaters, long pants, and steel-toed boots. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
