What you will be doing 

As a Production Lead, you will coordinate day-to-day production activities, guide production workers, and support supervisors in meeting safety, quality, and efficiency targets. 

Shift start 8:30am, may be adjusted based on business needs. 

 

Main responsibilities 

Assist in coordinating daily production operations to meet schedule and output goals. 

Lead and motivate production line staff, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and correctly. 

Monitor product quality and adherence to food safety and GMP standards. 

Provide hands-on support for machine setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting. 

Train new and existing team members on standard operating procedures and safety practices. 

Communicate effectively with supervisors and cross-functional teams regarding production status, issues, and improvements. 

Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards. 

Support inventory control and material usage tracking. 

Document production performance, downtime, and any deviations from the plan. 

Act as a point of contact in the supervisor’s absence. 

 

What we are searching for 

Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment required. 

Leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred. 

Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. 

Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

Ability to lead by example and build a positive team culture. 

Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting. 

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities. 

Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
