Job Description
The Production Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the Stanley/Excel and Hose department. This position involves working closely with production management, providing leadership, and guiding work teams while monitoring production processes and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the flow of the area to determine the best way to move work through the area.Report defective materials or questionable conditions to management.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.Ensure that prescribed preventive maintenance on machines is performed as required.Guide the team through completing tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.Uphold quality requirements as defined in the company's procedures/processes.Check in all incoming materials from the warehouse.Relay all production, personnel, and performance issues to the manager.Essential SkillsExperience in production, assembly, general production, forklift operation, machine operation, packaging, packing, and machine operating.Ability to read a tape measure and other required measurement devices.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical Capacity.Learning Orientation.Time Management.Thoroughness.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The environment encourages safety and cleanliness, adhering to all prescribed safety regulations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
