Production Lead, Events & Video Production **Employment Type:** Full Time **Date Posted:** 6/20/2025 **Location:** London, UK **Pay Range:** Negotiable **Job Number:** JO-2506-2667 **Primary Function** As Production Manager, based onsite at our client site in London, you will lead a team consisting of a Senior Production Coordinator and a Production Coordinator. You will be the crucial link for pre-production, production, and post-production planning for both our studios and live events team. We're searching for a dynamic and agile leader with infectious positive energy who thrives on technological innovation, process optimisation, and pushing creative boundaries within the event & production industry. This person must be passionate about driving positive change and will play a key role in collaborating with client stakeholders, setting up production processes and working with the Service Delivery Manager to provide key data and analysis to identify trends and proactively recommend service enhancements. This role demands a strong people manager with a proven track record of success, as you will oversee a team of Production Coordinators. You will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to execute productions. This is a full-time position based at client's Kings Cross offices and will require you to be onsite 5 days a week. **Duties & Responsibilities** + Directly manage, mentor, and support a team of Production Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. + Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback to the Production Coordinators. + Develop and implement training programs for Production Coordination staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. + Take ownership of the entire production lifecycle for both live events and studio productions, from conception to delivery. + Provide oversight and support to our Live Events team in Mountain View, California, collaborating with the AV Tech Lead on production scheduling and process management. + Develop detailed production schedules and timelines, for each project. + Implement and optimise production systems and workflows to ensure efficiency and consistency. + Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the production process. + Ensure all productions adhere to brand guidelines, quality standards, and deadlines. + Work with the Event Tech Lead on the planning of the production of a diverse range of live events, including but not limited to town halls, workshops, product launches, and conferences. + Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, communications, product teams) to understand event objectives and requirements. + Manage the production cycle of various studio-based content, including podcasts, interviews, video shoots, and other multimedia projects within our dedicated studio facility working the Production Studios Lead to bring the client briefs to life. + Oversee the logistics and execution of on-location interviews and shoots, ensuring all technical and logistical needs are met. + Work with content creators and talent to ensure smooth and efficient studio sessions. + Manage the Post Production working with the Production Studios Lead to ensure Edit timelines are met and delivered. + Collaborate effectively with the Studio Lead and Event Lead to strategically allocate internal production crew (e.g., camera operators, sound engineers, editors) across all live and studio projects, optimizing resource utilisation. + Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between production teams, creative teams, and other departments. **Skills & Qualifications** + In-depth knowledge of live event production workflows, technical requirements (AV, lighting, sound), and logistics. + Extensive experience with studio production processes, including podcasting, video recording, and interview setups. + Familiarity with various production equipment and software. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. + Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. + Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. + Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail. **Education & Experience** + Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in a Production Manager/Lead role, with a strong emphasis on both live event and studio production. + Demonstrable experience managing a team of production coordinators or similar roles. + Proven expertise in project management methodologies, including building comprehensive production schedules and implementing efficient team systems. **To Apply** Use the link at the bottom of this page to apply.
