**Work Schedule** Other **Environmental Conditions** Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Laboratory Setting, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) **Job Description** **What will you do?** + Frontline leadership of the Production Laboratory, this will include conducting performance discussions and assessments, and other employee relations activities. + Role-model the Thermo Fisher Scientific 4I Values, leading by example with a safety-first approach, and constantly challenge to improve our processes with continuous improvement. + Coordinate and supervise day-to-day manufacturing and resource planning in the department to ensure demand is met. + Set daily direction for your departments by successfully leading tiered meetings, whilst personally being responsible for the Tier 1 (department) review + Support the troubleshooting of issues in a calm and professional manner and provide clear, concise, and appropriate feedback to the business. + Perform intermediate and finished product batch record review prior to production release, ensuring production and quality Right First Time are maintained IN (incident) raising and investigation in SAP and QN related investigation and reports. + Plan the onboarding and ongoing training of new starters. Undertake the upskilling of all team members to optimise team efficiency and drive engagement. Supervise and ensure replacement of Production Laboratory raw materials, including consumables + Deputise for manufacturing management when required to ensure output and performance.
