**Location/Division Specific Information:**
Phadia is the leading supplier of fully automatic blood analysis systems for allergy and auto-immune diseases. With our innovative products, we set standards worldwide and assist clinicians in providing fast and reliable diagnoses, thus helping patients at an early stage. Phadia GmbH in Freiburg is the German subsidiary of the Immunodiagnostics division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global company that develops, manufactures and distributes in vitro diagnostics in the field of allergy and autoimmune diagnostics. **A Day in the Life:**
The Operations Strategy and Projects department is the link between technology and business in Freiburg. We drive project management and execution across various fields, including production IT, equipment and machines, as well as optimization projects.
With a global IT maintenance structure and close collaboration with our Swedish site, we ensure projects and production system administration run smoothly and efficiently! As we grow and expand our business, we will improve our engineering team at the Freiburg site to complete projects and support continuous improvement alongside daily operations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain Critical IT Systems: Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems in our manufacturing departments at the Freiburg site.
+ Empower Business Continuity: Strengthen life cycle management of computerized systems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
+ Drive IT Projects: Participate in IT projects for system upgrades and implementation of new software and applications.
+ Ensure Compliance: Maintain all IT systems in a valid state according to GxP and GAMP guidelines.
**Keys to Success:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Science, IT or Engineering
+ Some years in system administration, or engineering roles (System Administrator, System Engineer, Support Engineer, etc.)
+ Familiarity in a GxP regulated environment and in GAMP
+ Experience in IT project work as Project Manager (m/f/d) or Project Engineer (m/f/d)
+ Ability to understand business and technical requirements, develop high-level designs or plans and estimate the amount of effort and cost required to deliver.
+ Proficiency in English and German
+ Tight-knit collaboration skills to work in an international organization with a high degree of cross-site teamwork
+ Ability to work independently and take initiative
+ Diligent and pays attention to details
+ Well organized and structured approach to tasks
+ Open-minded and flexible, able to act agile in a changing environment
