Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Production Equipment Support at our El Paso, TX location! The core hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. This position ensures equipment readiness, supports efficient production flow, and collaborates with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. **In this function, you will:** • Perform equipment changeovers for spot welder machines and other production equipment as scheduled or requested. • Support setup and changeover activities across various manufacturing areas. • Assist maintenance and engineering teams during equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs. • Ensure tools, fixtures, and components required for changeovers are available and properly staged. • Maintain accurate records of changeover activities, equipment status, and support tasks. • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines during all equipment handling and setup activities. • Communicate equipment readiness and issues to production, maintenance, and engineering teams. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment setup efficiency and downtime reduction. • Support preventive maintenance efforts by identifying wear or damage during changeovers. • Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations and equipment reliability. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** • High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution. • Minimum of ONE year of experience in a manufacturing or equipment support role, preferably involving spot welding or brazing. • Experience working with hand tools, measurement devices, and basic mechanical adjustments. • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. **Position Success Criteria** • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge to support equipment setups and changeovers. • Familiarity with spot welding and brazing processes, including safety and operational standards. • Ability to use hand tools, measurement devices, and setup fixtures. • Strong organizational skills to manage tooling and setup components efficiently. • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. • Ability to read and interpret work instructionds, setup sheets, basic technical drawings, and standard operating procedures. • Effective communication skills to coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams. • Must be well-organized and able to prioritize tasks based on production needs. • Attention to detail to ensure proper setup and identify potential equipment issues. \#IND123 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
