What You’ll Do:
As a Production Technical Advisor, you will directly impact the safe, efficient, environmentally compliant and reliable operations of our production units.
What We Are Looking For:
Understands the unit’s technology, equipment and process control, providing subject matter expertise to the unit. Ensures the required operating discipline, best practices and technology is implemented to optimize and improve unit safety, performance and production Builds the technical competencies of operators by sharing process knowledge, problem-solving thought process and techniques, and experience. Assists operators and engineers with process and equipment technical performance issues. Collaboratively works with maintenance, reliability, and improvement personnel to resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement. Leads and supports targeted process and productivity improvement teams (e.g., work with improvement and reliability engineers to resolve operational and mechanical issues). Contributes to updating and improving the unit’s operating discipline and procedures. Leads and supports targeted process and productivity improvement teams. Understands and applies Statistical Process Control (SPC) technology. Initiates MOC’s as necessary.Skills that Make a Difference:
BS in an Engineering discipline, Chemical Engineering is preferred. 5 or more years of experience in Production in a Chemical Manufacturing Facility. 2 years of Co-op experience is a plus.
