Production Editor, IBM Think
**Introduction** IBM Think is IBM’s omnichannel media and events hub, bringing together content that generates awareness, engagement, impact and new digital relationships with visitors and clients. We’re building a team of creators, writers, journalists and technologists who can help people better understand and successfully adopt emerging technologies. We’ll do this by producing exclusive, high-quality content—explainers, feature articles, thought leadership, industry news and analysis, podcasts, newsletters, tutorials, demos and more—that help visitors make sense of new technologies and new ways of working, and connect them to ways IBM can help. **Your role and responsibilities** As a production editor, you’ll work alongside a team of editors, writers and content strategists to produce high-quality digital content across IBM Think’s platforms. You will be responsible for building and formatting articles, newsletters and promotional content using tools like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Marketo. This role is a hands-on production position—not a writing or editorial decision-making role—but you’ll be expected to apply sharp attention to detail and a strong understanding of layout, structure, accessibility and brand voice. You’ll take the lead on complex builds, visual formatting, QA workflows and any tool changes/adoptions, and will help guide junior production staff on best practices. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of content systems, understands digital publishing workflows and can juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on execution, precision and team collaboration in a fast-paced editorial environment. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Solid professional experience in content production or digital publishing, preferably in journalism, content marketing or enterprise communications * Demonstrated fluency with content management systems like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS tools * Experience building and formatting newsletters in platforms like Marketo or similar email platforms * Experience collaborating in an evolving editorial calendar * Ability to troubleshoot layout and formatting issues across web and email platforms * Familiarity with content QA and accessibility standards * Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work closely with multiple teams * Fluent English **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience training or mentoring production staff * Exposure to analytics platforms or tools that track newsletter or content performance * Understanding of IBM’s brand and design system is a plus IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
