**Job Title: Production Coordinator**
**Job Description**
A Production Coordinator coordinates and provides the training, tools, and materials necessary to meet the scheduled customer demand for a designated production area(s) of responsibility. This role must be executed within the prescribed policies and procedures of the company.
*****IMPORTANT**** Requires 2-weeks travel to Mocksville, NC for training & training schedule may be different than normal working shift.
**Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate with the Supervisor to assign work to meet on-time production and quality goals, including staging, trailer availability, and staffing.
+ Control the workflow within the area of responsibility to meet efficiency targets, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity.
+ Train team members and provide on-the-job training and line and production orientation for new hires.
+ Record accurate data on production, labor, team members, and scrap in a timely manner and ensure accurate production reporting.
+ Ensure inventory accuracy and management, as well as the availability of purchased and manufactured materials to meet production goals.
+ Collaborate with Maintenance and Manufacturing personnel to address machine downtime issues.
+ Ensure safety best practices are followed by team members at all times and that all quality standards for the production area are met.
+ Perform quality checks to ensure product quality and accuracy.
+ Fill in for the Department Supervisor in their absence.
+ Obtain and maintain a forklift license.
+ Maintain the security of buildings, grounds, equipment, materials, and personnel.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Mechanical competence and knowledge of safety-conscious practices.
+ Experience in manufacturing and inventory management.
+ Ability to spend extended time on feet and perform manual tasks involving dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
+ Capability to perform frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
+ Proficiency in reporting and clerical duties on a computer and/or tablet.
+ Must obtain a forklift license and certification within 45 days from hire date.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Lawrence, KS.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $53040.00/yr.
Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan (with an automatic 3% company contribution, regardless of your contribution after your first year of employment) among others.

This is a fully onsite position in Lawrence,KS.
