The successful candidate will work very closely with external suppliers as well with internal customers including material program managers, programs, manufacturing, planning, engineering and mission assurance /quality. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery performance, and reliability + Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and other groups. + Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve cost savings and value + Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with demand forecasts and inventory levels + Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing + Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, finance, engineering, merchandising) to understand purchasing needs + Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier documentation + Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations + Support inventory management by balancing availability with cost control + Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives + This will be an onsite role in our Andover, MA facility **Qualifications You Must Have** + Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field. + Experience to include planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, project management or a related field. **Qualifications We Prefer** + Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean or six sigma project implementations. + Excellent communication and organizational skills + Proficiency in ERP or purchasing systems and Microsoft Excel **What We Offer** + Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
