For more information, visit our website at www.teledynemarine.com . **Position Overview:** The Production Control and Scheduling Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Key responsibilities include managing work-in-progress (WIP), resolving material shortages, maintaining ERP/MRP system accuracy, and collaborating across departments to optimize production flow. The specialist plays a key role in aligning labor, materials, and equipment with production demands while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Production Scheduling & Execution + Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer demand and labor capacity. + Release and track shop orders, ensuring readiness of materials, documentation, and equipment. + Monitor TAKT time and adjust schedules to maintain production rhythm. + Support and maintain an on-time delivery rate of over 90% for customer critical orders. Production Control & Coordination + Track deliverables through all manufacturing areas to ensure on-time completion. + Communicate and escalate production issues to appropriate contacts for resolution. + Coordinate with engineering and supply chain teams to resolve design and material issues. System Management & Reporting + Accurately update ERP (IFS) and supplemental scheduling systems with production status and notes. + Assist with reporting data on labor and overtime needs, production statistics, and equipment breakdowns. + Maintain data integrity and transparency across systems and stakeholders. Inventory & Material Management + Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages during production + Aggressively track and resolve component and sub-assembly shortages. + Collaborate with supply chain to ensure timely availability of parts.
