GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Performs a variety of duties related to keeping accurate computer records related to

material, finished goods and inventory levels. Assembles and processes material as

required by the production schedules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the stocks and inventory store. Receives materials from

customers, vendors, production, and other stores. Keeps accurate the inventory

level and stocks.

2. Ensures the middle preparation. Schedules the middle preparation and follows

the schedules.

3. Creates production orders and issues materials to production for final assembly.

4. Checks records on stock, material requirements and production schedules to

determine adequacy of stock versus production requirements.

5. May operate data terminal to input and extract a variety of production control

data. Refers problem situations to higher-level personnel.

6. Works in collaboration with production managers, planners, operators, and

supervisors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $36.06/hr.
