Production Control Analyst

Material Planning and Logistics Production Control Analyst/Site Floater  - L240

Minimum Qualifications

Education: 
College Diploma or Equivalent. .(Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained.  If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required)

Experience:
Additionally, must have extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Education: Bachelor's in Business/ Supply Chain or equivalent. 

Experience:

Background in production control/parts procurement preferred.     Working knowledge of part control systems including part analysis and shipping and receiving preferred Ability to work independently with limited supervision Capable of assigning work to third party provider and unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput Proficiency in problem-solving and conflict management skills Demonstrate leadership in FORD+ (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Microsoft Office working knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)

Other Information:

This position is primarily a day shift placement but may require attendance on off shifts and/or weekends Position reports to Production Control Team Manager

Position Responsibilities:         
•    Under minimal supervision, act as a replacement for bargaining unit personnel in production control and timekeeping who are absent due to illness, vacations, etc.  Duties may include:
o    Maintain accurate inventory records in CMMS by dealing with shortages, overages, damaged materials, and any miscellaneous shipping errors
o    Arrange all expedite shipments through Penske LLP, Premium Logistics Management section, (PLM), and NLMI.  Participate in critical part shortage conference calls as required.
o    Use CMMS releases along with the weekly manufacturing plans to produce, and distribute, daily Production (Build) Schedules to meet customer requirements.
o    Coordinate engine shipments to meet assembly plant requirements
o    Responsible for the timely processing of weekly L200 hourly payroll and follow up
o    Analysis, investigation and resolution of payroll-related issues
•    Must follow all established procedures and processes, complying with all the requirements of each job function they may be assigned to cover.
•    Responsible for file maintenance for Windsor Site Material Control when not covering a desk or completing an assignment. 
•    Start times may vary in accordance with the postings being covered.
