Working here you’ll be part of a family that works together to make a difference and enhance the lives of millions worldwide. **What You’ll Work On** + **Maintain Cleanliness and Safety:** Ensure assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized using approved processes to meet food safety standards. + **Sanitize Equipment and Facilities:** Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment, as well as food processing areas, according to established job standards and SOPs. + **Operate Specialized Equipment:** Use tools such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, and other sanitation equipment to perform cleaning tasks effectively. + **Prevent Cross-Contamination:** Follow strict procedures to protect products, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces, and packaging during sanitation activities. + **Adhere to SOPs:** Comply with all company Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning equipment and facilities. + **Facility Upkeep:** Remove trash, mop floors as needed, clean floor drains, and maintain exterior areas requiring attention. + **Complete Documentation:** Accurately record all sanitation activities and work orders to ensure compliance and traceability. + **Maintain Sanitation Equipment:** Keep all cleaning tools and equipment, including floor scrubbers and vacuums, in proper working condition. + **Flexibility and Team Support:** Collaborate with team members and assist in other areas as needed, ensuring smooth operations and shared success. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. **Pay and Shift** + **Hourly Rate:** $21 per hour + **Schedule:** 12-hour **Day Shift** from **6:00 AM to 6:00 PM** + **Work-Life Balance:** Enjoy **every other weekend off** with a consistent rotating schedule. **Shift Pattern:** + **Week 1:** Wed & Thurs (12 hrs) + **Week 2:** Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs) + **Week 3:** Wed & Thurs (12 hrs) + **Week 4:** Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs) This rotation provides predictable time off while maximizing full-time hours. **Required Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous cleaning experience In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
