-Operate production line machinery to fabricate and assemble components to produce a
finished product to specification.
-Responsible for quality control (measurements, quality specifications). Be able to adjust ... as necessary to produce products within specification. Reject products outside of
specifications.
-Operate within Product Work Instructions (PWI), Work Instructions (WI), settings charts,
equipment parameters, print specifications, parts list, and job safety requirements.
-Monitor machine operation and outputs (product appearance, gauges, sounds, etc.) to
determine operating trends and potential malfunctions.
-Records and maintains production data.
-Complete daily production and quality forms.
-Perform minor maintenance (PM), troubleshoot and perform equipment change-over on
production line machinery within skill capabilities; call for repairs as needed.
-Assist maintenance in repair work.
-Communicate with operators within and from other shifts.
-Moves materials, supplies, components, and finished products between storage and
work areas, use work aids (racks, hoists, hand trucks) as needed.
-Provide on-the-job training for any new employees.
-Cross train between various modules to provide flexibility to the workforce.
-Maintain supplies inventory by checking inventory levels; anticipating needed supplies;
placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
-Participate in continuous improvement activities.
-Clean and maintain work area.
