Job Title: Production & Shipping Associate - Metal Fabrication Shop
Location: Bayville, New Jersey

Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $20 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite (100%)
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some overtime may be expected when needed) 
About this company: Machine shop, established in 2014 and specializes in customized metal parts, components and customize built / custom fabricated tools.

Production & Shipping Associate Responsibilities:  Assists in three (3) primary areas in our manufacturing process: Assembly, Packaging & Shipping Reads basic blueprint to assembly final completed metal components Runs finished metals parts through cleaning and polishing machine (deburring) Packages parts into boxes, wraps and secures package, prints shipping labels (UPS) and helps load and unload trucks (UPS) Uses hand tools, power tools such as grinders, polisher Operates other production machinery including presses, CNC milling machine, punch press and/or other similar industrial machinery
Production & Shipping Associate Requirements:  High school diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced vocational or technical schooling is desirable but not required. Must have experience shipping with UPS (Worldwide) Ability to read & follow basic blueprints. (how to read blueprint training is not provided) At least one (1) year experience from another metal fabrication shop is highly desired. Basic forklift experience desirable but not required Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladder (if needed), use of both hands, and the physical capability to lift 50lb box by self if/when needed.
