Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for inspecting raw cheese before use, remove mold if needed
Opening multiple raw cheese containers. Examples include barrels, 640 blocks, fiber barrels, & 40 lb. blocks
Scan tags and interact with SCOF computers
Operate 6 lane, servo lifts, & block dumpers
Responsible for maintaining quality standards by checking quality of seals, code dates, labels, packaging of product, weights, odor, color, temperature of product, etc.
Responsible for insuring accurate supplies being used.
Requires constant reaching, bending and twisting
Recordkeeping as required on manual, computer and other systems
Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area
General housekeeping duties include sweeping, bending, pickup up trash, lifting trash bags filled with trash, picking up cheese bags
Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Performs variety of sanitation and maintenance-type functions
Must check product and fill out quality documentation
Peel out and salvage rejected product
Follow GMP’s outlined in handbook.
Must be capable of working with others “Team Work”
Performs sanitation duties when required
Must be willing to be an active participant in Safety and Efficiency Improvement Teams
Performs other duties as advised by the Leadership Team
Must attend DDS meetings daily, 30 minutes prior to start of shift
Complete a variety of maintenance-type tasks such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc.
This position will be expected to complete training on upgrade and relief positions within the Process Cheese department
Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.

· Knowledge: Basic math, reading, and communication. · Working Environment: Primarily indoors, hot and humid, can be in a cool environment. Temperature ranges are for lower 40’s to upper 90’s. During sanitation, can be exposed to wet conditions. Will be required to work from vertilifts, ladders and platforming.undefined
