Primary Purpose:
General Labor working in the Process Cheese Department. Days and shift times vary.Job Responsibilities:
Salvages product, as advised, from toting stations. Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area. Performs other duties as advised by the Leadership Team. Responsible for accurate decisions and advising the proper personnel when there are problems. Train new or inexperienced associates. Perform recordkeeping as the need arises on manual, computer, and other systems. Includes Progress Boards & RAIL items. Complete all prestart-up and start of shift checks that are required. Provide break relief as needed & advised. Perform & document all required Period Cleaning in area. Communicates closely with Filling Room Completes required recordkeeping on manual, computer, and other systems, including scanning into SAP if vital. Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions. Responsible for all trucking and related computer requirements and accurate maintenance of the fork truck andbattery.
Setting up equipment as assigned in accordance with the most accurate procedure that applies. Visually inspect the flow of production, clearing jam-ups as they occur, pulling rejects and salvaging whenevernecessary.
Performing the vital quality checks, etc. as assigned. Advising the supervisor or line tech of any machine malfunction or irregularities. Compliance with all company policies and general safety rules while performing job duties. Observing the condition of the materials and supplies. Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes. Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.Minimum Requirements:
·Knowledge: Basic math, reading and communication. Working Environment: Primarily indoors, hot, and humid.Qualifications:
·Able to acquire a fork truck license.Physical Requirements:
