Production Associate - Level I (Disassembly, Cleaning & Inspection)
Pay Rate: $23.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 12-month assignment
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Production Associate with experience using tools in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment work. The primary responsibility of this role is the teardown of 60L and 78L high-horsepower diesel engines. This position includes lifting heavy components using cranes, disassembling engine parts with hand and power tools, cleaning components, and inspecting parts to prepare them for the next stage in production.
Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
+ Immediately stop work and report any major injury hazards.
+ Report work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
+ Comply with all HSE standards, policies, and regulations.
+ Use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ Correct hazards within scope and promote workplace safety.
+ Engage in HSE training and promote an injury-free environment.
Quality
+ Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).
+ Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming material.
+ Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
Production & Operations
+ Assist in disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of engine parts.
+ Work at required cycle time or defined engineering standards.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Perform routine housekeeping, operator care, and equipment maintenance tasks.
+ Support production goals with flexibility and teamwork.
+ Collaborate with peers, trades, and support staff to maintain equipment.

Education & Certifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Compliance with licensing/export control regulations may apply.
