Production Associate – Level I (Disassembly / Cleaning and Inspection)
Pay Rate: $23.50/hr
Location: Commerce City CO / On-Site / 1st shift
The Production Associate operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity standards, ensuring a safe working environment with limited supervision.
This role involves assisting in the teardown of high-horsepower diesel engines. Employees rotate through tasks including engine disassembly, component cleaning, and part inspection to prepare items for the next stage in production.

Key ResponsibilitiesHealth, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
Stop work and report any major injury hazards immediately.
Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
Comply with all HSE standards, policies, and regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support an interdependent safety culture by looking out for peers.
Correct hazards within your scope of control.
Minimize environmental impact through safe work practices.
Participate in HSE training.
Quality:
Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures (SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).
Identify and raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
Perform quality inspections.
Identify and control non-conforming material.
Production Goals:
Work at required cycle time or engineering standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including housekeeping and equipment care.
Perform operator maintenance tasks as planned.
Stay flexible and take on miscellaneous duties as needed to meet goals.
Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain equipment and report repair needs.
