Production Associate
**Job Responsibilities** + Review batch paperwork and instructions to understand and perform packaging procedures required for each clinical study. + Clean packaging rooms and machinery as needed in a clean room environment. + Perform manual and automated filling and packaging pharmaceutical products while approving labeling and checking quality. + Ensure proper labeling and drug placement using various sealing machinery. + Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies according to GMP, customer requirements, and SOP standards. + Accurately count and prepare packages such as pill bottles and syringe packs to ensure proper packaging. + Perform final checks of work in-process and finished products, then pack goods into appropriately labeled containers or boxes. + Assist in staging and reconciliation of components. **Essential Skills** + **_High School Diploma or GED_** + Attention to detail, as mistakes on labels or packaging could have significant consequences. + Willingness and ability to work in a cold room as needed for 10 hours a week, with all PPE provided. + Willingness and ability to work mandatory overtime as needed. + Protective shoes required (steel or composite). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing or production experience, or at least warehouse experience. + Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is ideal. + Candidates from fast food or retail backgrounds may be considered if they demonstrate a strong interview performance and proven tenure in previous roles. **Available Shift & Pay** + 1st shift: 6:30am - 3:15pm (Monday - Friday) // **$17.50** + **Expect heavy overtime for the next few months** + 2nd shift: 2:45pm - 1:30am (Monday - Thursday) // **$19.25** + 2nd shift will train on 1st shift for 2 weeks at $17.50 + **Expect heavy overtime for the next few months** **Why Work Here?** Join a world-renowned company known for its outstanding benefits while contributing to the production of life-saving drugs, including those used in cancer research. **Work Environment** This position is in a pharmaceutical packaging department within a clean room environment, requiring full gown, shoe covers, hairnet, beard net, and safety glasses at all times. All PPE is provided except safety shoes and prescription safety glasses. This role includes time in a cold room environment (35-46 F), with cold weather PPE provided. **Expect heavy OT, for the upcoming months** . **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.25/hr.
