Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for the preparation of raw materials, operation of processing equipment, monitoring of equipment to maintain desired run rates, and ensuring product quality through initial testing and proper labeling. You will also package final products, adhere to quality standards, maintain housekeeping, and comply with legal and company EHS rules.

Responsibilities

Prepare raw materials from staging to weighing.Operate processing equipment according to process instructions and procedures.Monitor equipment to keep processes running at desired run rates.Complete initial testing and release of products to ensure no deviations.Ensure correct labeling following existing rules and instructions.Package final products in accordance with instructions and quality standards.Carry out all operations in compliance with expected quality standards and operating procedures.Maintain housekeeping in the area of responsibility.Perform any other duties requested by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Essential Skills

Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting.Hardworking, dependable, and open to cross-training.General labor and packaging experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic educational degree, high school diploma, or general education diploma.Knowledge of common software programs (MS Office).Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.1 year of experience in an industrial environment.Experience in plastics machine operation.Capability to be cross-trained to operate all production process equipment.

Work Environment

This role is in a non-temperature controlled environment, where the warehouse can be hot. Shifts are available across all times: 1st (6am-2:30pm), 2nd (2pm-10:30pm), and 3rd (10pm-6:30am).

This is a Contract position based out of Tucker, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
