**Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Production Associates to join our team at a facility specializing in plasma spray coating for orthopedic implants, particularly in the spine and large joint areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise, high-quality parts that meet strict standards. **Responsibilities** + Handle coating operations, including preparing each part for coating. + Apply thin layers of coating and add fine beads to create texture, thickness, and coverage. + Place coated parts into curing ovens and allow them to cool for proper bonding. + Trim edges and touch up thin spots to ensure uniform appearance. + Perform inspections using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing role. + Experience with small parts in manufacturing, including roles like trimming, finishing, deburring, polishing, and grinding. + Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality work. + Good tenure with no more than 2 jobs in one year, each lasting at least 6 months, and recent employment within the past two months. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in assembler roles, particularly beneficial for candidates with artistic skills. + Hobbies that require attention to detail, such as painting or doing nails, are advantageous. **Why Work Here?** We offer excellent benefits, including comprehensive healthcare, two weeks of paid time off, and a 401k match. **Work Environment** The position requires sitting for the majority of the shift, which is from 5 AM to 1 PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Farmington Hills, MI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36400.00 - $36400.00/yr.
