**Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description** We are seeking a Production Associate to join our dynamic team. This role will initially involve training on the first shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, transitioning to the second shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. You will work collaboratively in cells with another team member, being assigned to one line and cross-training based on proficiency. You will operate various machines and participate in the assembly of parts, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by the Cell Lead. + Effectively monitor production equipment. + Read and understand the bill of materials and blueprints. + Communicate with the Cell Lead regarding discrepancies on drawings or BOM. + Inspect pieces/parts to ensure they conform to specifications and industry standards. + Operate air and power tools as needed. + Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, thread gages, gage pins, and tape measures. + Maintain productivity at or above production standards. + Adhere to safety rules and procedures. + Keep tools and supplies organized and the work area clean. + Work closely with the Quality Control Department. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine operation and general production. + Ability to set up and operate rewind machines. + Basic understanding of production manufacturing processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to stand continuously and move with agility. + Capability to frequently walk, bend, lift, and carry items. + Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated and supportive team where your contributions are valued. Safety is a priority, requiring the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The work environment encourages cleanliness and organization to maintain efficiency and safety. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairmont, NC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.50/hr.
