**Job Title: Production Associate**
**Job Description**
As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assisting with slitting and pleating operations. Your work will ensure precision in cutting filter media and forming pleats, which are essential for maintaining the quality and performance of filter products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform slitting operations by cutting large rolls of filter media into narrower widths with precision.
+ Pull materials and manage inventory, including putting away returns.
+ Handle raw materials, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
+ Operate pleating machines to form precise folds in slit materials to maintain consistent spacing and structure.
+ Load and run pleating machines, and cut pleating material using a bandsaw.
+ Conduct material handling to load machines efficiently.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in production within a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in operating basic equipment.
+ Knowledge of production processes and machine operation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ General production and labor skills.
+ Inspection abilities to ensure quality control.
**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing setting that involves machine operation and material handling. Must be capable of lifting and moving materials as needed. The role requires attention to detail and precision to maintain product quality.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Lima, New York.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.50/hr.
