Production Associate
**Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Production Associate to join our team. The primary focus will be on hooping cheese wheels. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and assisting in various production processes. **Responsibilities** + Maintain accurate, legible records of cheese location and quantity. + Comply with all company Safety, HACCP, and GMP policies. + Immediately report any food safety or quality issues to management or other authorized personnel. + Fill cheese wheel molds with cheese curd using packing equipment, monitoring cheese wheel size. + Stack wheels horizontally onto cheese presses. + Flip 20 lb wheels in press to ensure proper wheel form. + Remove cheese from molds. + Maintain accurate wheel weights and counts. + Clean and sanitize production area and equipment. + Palletize finished wheels and transfer cheese to other production areas using a forklift. + Remove, wash, and sanitize hoops and lids. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. + Basic computer skills, with proficiency operating Windows-based software. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of two, three, and four-digit numbers using units of weight measurement and counts. + Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills. + Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in production, general labor, general production, packaging, and assembly. + Experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, quality, and teamwork. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are highly enforced, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, non-slip steel-toe shoes, and full-length pants. The work hours are from 6am to 4pm, with a schedule of four days on and three days off. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
