Description
Plexus is looking to hire 2 production workers on their A shift - every other Wednesday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and 2 C shift - Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6am-6pm - 12 hour shifts.
A+ candidate has previous electronic manufacturing experience, either through hole or surface mount soldering, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Also need to be flexible by helping out in other departments and have a great attitude. Attitude is the most important thing Plexus wants to see, everyone can be trained.
Must have basis computer skills; ability to navigate on their program (just like navigating on the internet or a basic program), basic excel for documentation, and outlook experience.
Plexus in Nampa has about 450 permanent employees.

Candidates in this role have the option to either sit/stand during their 10 hour shift, however standing will be required so please don't say they'll be sitting all day.
This is a light industrial/general assembly where candidates will lift no more than 10-15 lbs. and will have metrics to hit in regards to how many pieces they need to assemble. It's the equivalent of putting one hose in to another hose by hand.
Purpose Statement: Responsible for supporting production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. Works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgment is required. Must have a working knowledge of production standards and production goals. This position receives detailed instructions on all work and works under close supervision. It also works on assignments that are routine in nature. Has no role in decision-making, and is required to operate within established policies and procedures and to seek approval for deviations.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Basic Computer Skills.
Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good oral and written communication skills are necessary.
