**Job Title: Production Associate - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated Production Associates to join our team on the day shift, Monday through Friday from 6am to 2pm. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and a positive attitude, as training will be provided. **Responsibilities** + Support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines. + Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging. + Adhere to production standards and production goals with detailed instructions. + Lift no more than 10-15 lbs. while meeting assembly metrics. + Work on assignments that are routine in nature, operating under close supervision. + Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and program navigation. **Essential Skills** + Previous electronic manufacturing experience, including through-hole or surface mount soldering. + Mechanical aptitude and flexibility to assist in other departments. + Basic computer skills, including internet navigation, basic Excel, and Outlook. + Ability to sit and/or stand for the duration of the shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred. + One or more years of related experience preferred. + Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Good oral and written communication skills. + Attention to detail and ability to handle stress well. + Open to entry-level candidates with a strong attitude and willingness to learn. **Why Work Here?** Join a national company working in exciting industries such as space, medical, and defense. Employees can choose to sit or stand during their shift, with standing required at times. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
