WAGE:                              $25.35-$26.31

DEPARTMENT:                  PROCESS CHEESE – SCOF WORK HOURS:                 D CREW (1700-0500) but may vary.

WORK WEEK:                    ROTATING but may vary.

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for Operating, Maintaining, & Sanitation of all Filling Equipment for the Free Pack Filling lines (including the Free Pack, Scales, & Overwrap) to produce a Quality Product that is Right the First time.

Job Responsibilities:

Two Filling Operators will be equally responsible for running & maintaining a pair of Free Packs, Scales, & Overwraps. The third Filling Operator is responsible for labeling, handling & storing all Holdover & Scrap from the Filling & Processing Area. Three Filling Operators will rotate at a frequency yet to be determined. Monitoring Production schedule to determine accurate product to package, timing of changeovers and sanitation. Performs set-up for all filling equipment for start-up and product change overs. Acquire and analyze finished product samples, using the Foodscan, Seal Tester, or current test method. Monitor & control filling operation. Capable to work effectively & efficiently with other Filling Operators, Line Tech, & Case Packer Operator. Ensures that empty barrels are available for Holdover & Scrap. Assist with bringing Packaging supplies to the line & loading supply conveyors for the Filling room. Assist with removal of trash & recyclables from the Filling room. Responsible for notifying appropriate personnel to assist correcting finished product back to target. Performs Sanitation on all Free Pack Filling Line equipment. Includes operating ACS system to clean water bath & dosing tanks, operating COP tubs, and operating CIP unit to wash Filling Circuits. Assist with Period Cleaning during downtimes & sanitation windows. Responsible for scraping, cleaning, and inspecting for cleanliness and damage on all Filling Equipment. Responsible for required prestart-up checks. Assist with R&D Trials as needed! Communicate closely with Filling & Cooking. Perform & document all Period Cleaning items for Filling Equipment as the need arises. Maintain Kraft quality standard by checking quality of seals, code dates, labels, packaging, weights, odor, color, temperature of product, etc. Maintain machine operating condition through proper cleaning and lubrication to improve line optimization. This includes variety of maintenance functions (i.e., change-over, set-up, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, production programming, etc.). Ensure housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area. Perform recordkeeping as the need arises on manual, computer, and other systems. Coordinates the job duties or changes of duty during shift operations. Responsible for correct decisions and notifying the proper personnel when there are problems. Train new or inexperienced associates. Relieve other personnel as needed. Maintain proper line speeds. Actively participate as a team member. Able to learn/demonstrate proficiency in MES applications. Report and correct unsafe acts or conditions. Operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Perform other duties as advised by the Leadership Team. Must attend DDS meetings daily, 30 minutes prior to start of shift. Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes. Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

·Knowledge:  Basic math, reading, and communication.    Working Environment:  Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general production environment.

Qualifications:

·Able to acquire a fork truck license.

Physical Requirements: 

Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching to both ground level and overhead; lifts, carries, pushes, routinely pulls, and moves up to 100 pounds; holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity vital to operate equipment; and disassemble and reassemble equipment.
