Thermo Scientific Microbiology Sdn Bhd under Microbiology Division in Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a suitable candidate for a Production Operator role.

 

Responsibilities:

Complete and co-ordinate all production activities to meet manufacturing goals through efficient use of resources (i.e. workforce, materials, machines and methodologies) in a safe and healthy working environment​.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

To assist in the production process, including:Weighing and preparation of raw materials and equipment for sterilizationSet up equipment used in the laboratory and maintain it in a clean and safe conditionMedia pouring (machine and manual)Media labelling, packing and storage

 

Education:

Secondary school (SPM) or equivalent is minimally required.

 

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in production preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure and do multi-task.Good interpersonal personality and Hard-workingHave basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word & ExcelDemonstrate punctuality and sense of responsibility through adherence to attendance guidelines.
