Join a leading global full-service automotive supplier specializing in complex metal, plastic, and hybrid structures for body-in-white, crash management systems, chassis applications, and cross-car beams. This plant supplies parts to well-known brands such as Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate assembly equipment as assigned.Perform die change and set-up duties.Load and unload parts in and out of welders, dies, trunions, and assembly fixtures.Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and rivets parts and sub-assemblies.Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required.Ensure quality and quantities of parts produced meet required quality specifications and production rates.Perform light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment.Complete necessary paperwork, including start-up checklist, pre-shift inspection sheet, labor tickets, scrap records, downtime tracking sheets, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.Essential SkillsExperience in either manufacturing or warehouse environments.Ability to work at a very fast pace.Capability to perform medium lifting up to 50 lbs and stand/move all day.Steel-toe footwear is required.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustrial, manufacturing, or construction experience is preferred but not required.Experience with hand and power tools is preferred but not required.Why Work Here?The company offers a pay increase once permanent after 90 days, with a 2-3% pay increase every 6 months for the first 36 months. Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing production facility. The work schedule is on the 1st shift from 5:45 am to 2:15 pm, Monday through Sunday, currently working 7 days a week. Full training is provided, and employees are required to wear steel-toe footwear.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.45 - $15.45/hr.
