Job Description

Participate in all operational activities of the modification department. Duties include participating in the receiving, staging, unpackaging, modifying, repackaging, and shipping of assembled cabinetry along with the associated paperwork flow.

Responsibilities

Participate in the modification of assembled cabinets according to the description on each order.Work within a team framework to produce and modify cabinets either with a team member or individually.Operate and maintain all woodworking tools, hand tools, power tools, and equipment used to unassemble, modify, and reassemble cabinetry.Complete the paperwork associated with this job description.Receive, unload, and stage incoming assembled cabinetry for modification.

Essential Skills

Experience with assembly and production processes.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Ability to perform woodworking tasks.Capability to inspect and modify products.General labor skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Read, speak, and write English.1 year of production experience or similar experience in carpentry/woodworking.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a warehouse and/or open outside storage yard environment that requires lifting above the shoulder, walking, bending, standing, and carrying products. Heavy lifting is required, and there is exposure to all types of weather conditions, including seasonal temperature changes. The work schedule is determined by the needs of the business unit and may vary by location. First shift runs from 6:05 am to 3:30 pm, and the third shift is from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 pm to 5:30 am

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
