We have an outstanding Contract position for a Production Assembler to join a leading Company located in Milwaukie, OR.
Pay Rate Range: $19 - $20/hrSchedule: Mon - Thur 6am - 4:30pm**US Citizenship is required.**
The Electrical Assembler II, under moderate guidance, will perform processes to manufacture a finished product, using small hand tools and soldering skills per manufacturing instructions in the cell, in accordance with company policy and safety procedures. May assist in training Assembler I associates.
Job Responsibilities: Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.Conducts inspections of own and/or other associates' work to ensure correctness in accordance with company and /or customer drawing.Prepares lead wires.Performs advanced test functions.Shapes, connects and installs coils, solder, braze and fuse connections.Performs advanced installation.Performs the marking and cleaning process.May solder and assemble, electro-mechanical or mechanical assemblies/subassemblies using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturing instructions to conform to quality specifications.May solder connections and electronic components to circuit boards.May use coating equipment.May read calipers.May use a microscope.May use small hand and electric tools.May clean and mark surfaces to indicate measurements.Ability to be trained to use simple machines such as lathes, drill presses and balance machines.Actively demonstrates all safety policies and procedures.Soldering.Inspection.Mechanical Assembly.Bonding or Gluing.Basic Testing.Other specialized processes as required by manufacturing outlines.Moderate paperwork requirements such as M.O. preparation.Test reports, filling out and maintaining one or more required reports.Performs other assigned duties as required.
Basic Hiring CriteriaA Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 2 years of Soldering and Assembly experience.Must be able to work Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm
