Our client, one of the leading names in Marine Engineering & Service industry is looking to hire a Production and Demand Planner based in UAE. Salary Budget: AED 35K – 40K + Benefits

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Responsible activities/production planning schedules to control work flow, including Forecasting, Order Promising, MRP, Master Data, Engineering Change, Management, and Inventory Turns.

-Creating, using and maintaining plant history to develop future maintenance requirements for equipment, forecasting operational impacts and cost projections.

-Developing specific maintenance plans for various equipment and mechanical resources.

-Coordinating reports from maintenance technicians and using information to develop system-wide and location and/or equipment maintenance plans.

-Preparing work plans based on logical sequencing of events and associated tasks.

-Conducting site inspections to determine maintenance requirements and scopes of work for specific maintenance projects.

-Identifying parts, materials, tools, external services and resources -required to undertake successful preventative maintenance and unscheduled repair work.

-Developing standard maintenance procedures to adhere to regulatory requirements and equipment standards and company policies.

-Ensuring the ongoing validity of safety permits for sites and/or equipment.

-Responsible for training and coaching junior planners

-Ad hoc duties as assigned

Education & Qualification:

-Minimum 5+ years’ experience in production and demand planning

-Experience in using SAP and Excel Macro
-Minimum 5+ years’ experience of construction planning in Maritime Construction and/or O&G Offshore/Onshore

-Proficient in the use of -Primavera P-6 it’s a plus
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Project Scheduling including Critical Path Methodology, Productivity Tracking and Earned Value required.
- Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
