Estimated annual base pay: $103,600 (minimum) - $129,500 (midpoint) - $155,400 (maximum)
L2:
Estimated annual base pay: $127,000 (minimum) - $159,000 (midpoint) - $190,800 (maximum)

As the Product Technology Manager, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging your technical expertise and strategic mindset to shape the future of our electromechanical solutions. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, production, and project management teams, collaborating with some of the most respected aerospace companies in the world, including Boeing, Airbus, Safran, Gulfstream, Cessna, Raytheon, General Electric, and Pratt & Whitney. This is a highly visible position that will play a key role in driving business growth and position Woodward as an industry leader for years to come.
What you will be doing…
Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the performance and market position of our motors, sensors, geartrains, and electronics product lines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring innovative and high-quality solutions.
Serve as a technical expert in the design, development, and control of mechanical and electromechanical devices, including electronic hardware and software integration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key aerospace customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and align product offerings with market demands.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to guide product development and business growth strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

US – Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS)
US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
Experience:
Experience with energy control technologies in technical role with demonstrated
commercial aptitude or product line management
Additional formal training in specialized areas such as Product Management, Strategic Selling and large account management
L2:
Education:
US – Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS)
US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
Experience:
Experience with energy control technologies a technical role with demonstrated commercial aptitude, or expertise in product line management
Additional formal training in specialized areas such as Negotiations, Product Management, Financial Analysis, Business Development, Strategic Selling, and Large Account Management
License & Certifications:
Six Sigma Training
Preferred:
Strong technical proficiency in the design, development, and control of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
Experience with electronic control hardware and software development.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute plans to achieve long-term business goals.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving challenges.
