Product Support Specialist - Inventory (Kennesaw, GA)

Position Purpose:

A Product Support specialist/Inventory specialist participates in all the activities in our organization related to asset management lifecycle, order fulfillment, purchase ordering receiving, warehousing, and deploying IT equipment to the enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fulfill orders to retail, non-retail and corporate locationsReceive assets from manufacturers and repair vendorsAllocate assets into appropriate inventoriesContribute inputs in process improvementsCross-train new associatesPerforms scheduled inventory counts and report the resultsPerforms periodic quality control of devices receivedProvides shipping information to internal/external teams, stores, logistics sites and corporate usersOperates reach trucks and electric pallet jacksEnsure accuracy in all warehouse activities

Environment

· Fast paced working environment

· Warehouse could be noisy at times

· No-climate control


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Typically reports to the Product Support Supervisor, Product Support Manager or Sr. Manager.


Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications:

2 year experience with IBM Control Desk or other inventory management toolBe able to operate lift rucksKnowledge of Microsoft application such as Excel and PowerPoint2 year experience with inventory control procedures2 year experience with asset tracking tools and proceduresBe able to work on a warehouse environmentStanding on their feet for more than 3 hours is requiredBe able to lift 30 LBS


Minimum Education:

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
