Product Specialist

The Product Specialist is the principal point of contact for their allocated Product(s). They service and support both clients and colleagues alike during both “Onboarding” and “Live” scenarios. Their interactions may be face to face or remote depending on the situation. For example: Issue reproduction and resolution; daily Scrums and Q & A sessions. They will work closely with the Senior Product Specialist during the regular Sprint Release schedules to perform adhoc, regression and smoke testing and support Client User Acceptance Testing, to consider operational and client impacts and escalate / communicate as appropriate. Through their interactions and subsequent inherent knowledge of their allocated Product(s) they will champion best practice and lobby changes through liaison with the Management team to enhance our offering.

Responsibilities:

To be an expert in their allocated Product (s) To respond to internal and external Helpdesk questions/queries in line with Client service levels, reproducing, escalating issues and raising bugs, as appropriate in Azure DevOps Server and following through to resolution. Performing daily QCs and system maintenance to ensure stable operation Work closely with Product and Development teams during the regular Sprint Release schedules to perform regression and smoke testing across our Products, support Client User acceptance Testing and consider operational and client impacts, escalating, communicating and educating as appropriate. Perform day to day internal system jobs and reporting for the Client programs as necessary and in response to existing Client needs. Be prepared to professionally: Explain Product capabilities and how they meet client requirements Support the identification of gaps and suggest alternate solutions/best practice. Collect Client configuration requirements within appropriate spreadsheets / documentation Accurately upload/input Client configuration into our system in line with agreed deadlines Submit requirements into Azure DevOps Server as necessary ensuring entry is fully comprehensive to support the Development Team’s understanding. Perform adhoc configuration/set up tasks as part of system or Client maintenance Support training sessions with client administrators, and / or colleagues as necessary to encourage optimum use of the Product – developing and maintaining documentation as necessary. Through interactions and knowledge of the allocated Product(s) collate best practice, lobby, and champion changes to enhance offerings through liaison with the Product Manager(s) engaging Program Administration Quality Assurance Champions as necessary. Attend client meetings as appropriate/necessary Other duties as directed or delegated by Line Manager/Senior Product Specialist

The compensation for this position is $50K  to $58K annually.  Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience.
