Job DescriptionAs Product Specialist for our Linear Motion Technology product range, you will be responsible for providing expert product support and assisting our ADMs to win business with our customers across the UK & ROI market for our globally recognised brand. You will accompany our ADMs on customer visits every week and be based from our Cirencester office when carrying out follow up or central tasks. Your excellent knowledge of these products will ensure we retain our position as the market leader for factory automation solutions in new and emerging markets including industry sectors such as printing, packaging, food processing, material handling and automotive manufacturing.
As well as strong technical competency, you will have the excellent interpersonal skills required of a successful Product Specialist including;

Proposing product solutions and quotations to customers as required.Providing excellent product support to our external sales teamsTaking responsibility for completing, following up and supporting salesNetworking and building high quality, business-focused relationships with current and potential customers, sales partners, product partners in Germany, developing close working relationships as required.Attending events and meetings giving product presentations to meet customer needs whenever appropriate.Providing technical product training for customers, field sales and internal staff as required QualificationsHNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Relevant industry experience of industrial automation
Full UK driving licence
Excellent standard of spoken and written English
Conversant in Microsoft office products
SAP R3 or similar integrated system
Excellent knowledge of linear motion technology, with knowledge of servo drives and controls an advantage.
