Job Summary:
The Product Solutions Assistant is responsible for process management, implementing B2B policies and procedures, and providing analytical support, insights, and recommendations to the product solutions manager team while learning the long-range business strategy and tactics associated with the B2B team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Coordination: Work with B2B sales team, product solutions managers, & merchants to convey, track & execute offers & requests.
+ Innovation: Work broadly to understand key industry trends to bring B2B specific solutions that differentiate BJ’s B2B division. Participate in key selling activities such as Quarterly business reviews and club walks
+ Reporting: Generates financial reports and analyzes data to draw conclusions and provide insights and recommendations to help reach and exceed sales and margin plan
+ Market research and analysis: Conducting research on customer preferences, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for improving merchandising strategies and optimizing product offerings.
+ Inventory management: Collaborate with both P&A and supply chain in monitoring and analyzing inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability for B2B customers, while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. This includes monitoring dedicated space for B2B in DC’s and in high volume clubs.
+ Logistics: Work closely with B2B sales operations, DC operations, club operations and others to ensure that product logistics are optimal and meet the needs of both BJ’s and the business member.
+ Training and support: Provide training and support to the sales team and B2B customers on product features, benefits, and merchandising best practices.
+ Cross Functional teamwork: Work directly with broader BJ’s merchant team to ensure cohesive strategies are in place that maximize value for BJ’s and business members.
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or operations related field
+ 1-3 years of professional merchandising or retail operations experience
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $56,500.00.
